Step 1: Initial meeting
Preliminary discussion of the home you would like to build, the location at which you plan to build, any specific expectations you would like us to accommodate, the budget for the home, and detailed information about the following steps.

Step 2: Professional Design Agreement
We draft a Professional Design Agreement for Jim Boles Custom Homes to assist your architect / designer and consultants in preparation of the following:
1. Development of the plans for the Proposed Residence
2. Investigate work regarding special plan design needs both architectural and site related
3. Outline the Custom Home Options to be put into your home.

4. The availability of utilities for the Subject Property
5. The nature and estimated cost of any site work necessary on the subject property prior to construction
6. Development of Final Construction Specifications, allowance items and cost to build your new home

Step 3: Detailed Proposal
We provide a detailed proposal which outlines the complete specifications and cost for your new home.

Step 4: Revisions and Construction Contract
We revise the plans and specifications for any of your changes and value engineering. We will now enter into a fixed price building contract.

Step 5: The Fun Begins, (Construction)
We begin the actual construction of your home. You will now start seeing, feeling, and smelling the rewards of the upfront work. During the construction phase of the project, Jim Boles works closely with the client on the selection of finishes for the home. We keep up and keep you up to date on selections and scheduling in a well-organized, user-friendly process.

During the construction phase unexpected challenges can and will happen. It is an unrealistic to believe no challenges or plans alterations will arise. We will be constructing a custom home to be built one time, your exact plans have never been built before, unforeseen things may happen. Your home will be built using thousands of pieces and hundreds of people will be working for you, we hire only the most professional trade associates to help us with this process, however we are still working with people. If you ever have a concern or are unhappy about something, please let us know right away, if you don’t we can’t possibly help with a solution.

Step 6: Referrals
If you are happy with our work please say so. Proudly, our business depends on referrals. Although we are a professional home building company the majority of our work comes from the old-fashion word of mouth. Tell your friends, family and business associate about us.
